Digital cameras can’t really be recognized by sight alone. They look a bit like small video camcorders do. Instead of using film like the other cameras do, they use a tiny light sensitive chip to capture an image instead. Because of this, these cameras can store a great deal more images than the others can and it is stored in the memory. After shooting is finished, you attach the camera to a computer by way of a serial cable, and the pictures go directly to the hard drive.
Digital cameras are a lot cheaper than they used to be now too because the technology is not so new anymore. Now that there are the many brands and models that are featured, the quality and reliability that comes with digital photography continues to change the way we keep track of moments. The difference is rarely unobserved.
